BOARD OF EDUCATION

 

The Board of Education is composed of five members. One each is selected from a different section of the county. Each member is appointed by the April grand jury for a period of five years. One member is appointed each year.

 

The present board members are: Dion Bradford, Merrill Smyth, Carl Baker, Alec Houts and Leroy Smith.

Bobo, Henry Elliott, William Tatum, Robert Freeman, Luke Ivey and George Sims.
