Final Prayer
(This prayer was found in her Bible Wednesday the day of the funeral)
All Mighty God…we pause to thank you for our many blessings. We come to you to ask more blessings and to thank you for giving your son Jesus to die on the cross that we might be saved.
We thank you for the living example of goodness, for friendship, for the inspiration that challenges us to take the high road, and (for) the unfinished spender of this nations beauty. We thank you that all have the privilege to worship together.
Thank you for friends, for the church, for worship, and for the beautiful melodies that prevent our life’s discomforts.
We pray that you will help us develop a great free heart toward all of life.
Bless the one who is giving this lesson that they may bring the word clearer to us.
In Jesus name, we pray.
Amen
The Last Prayer of Mary Elizabeth Forrest Wood
Thanks be to God
